An old friend of mine (who I haven’t seen in many years now) had a bizarre and morbid fear of loose buttons. She had no idea what prompted it. She didn’t recall ever having swallowed a button, nor experiencing any other button-related trauma. But the mere sight of a loose button made her freak out. As a prank, I used to send her pictures like this. Because I’m kind of an asshole to my friends sometimes.
